MEET NATHAN

 With over 20 years of experience across substations and power generation projects, Nathan Friesen is a highly experienced operations leader specializing in energized utility and high-voltage infrastructure construction throughout Western Canada. As Director of Operations, he leads field execution, workforce coordination, safety compliance, quality control, and day-to-day site operations on complex utility projects.

Nathan brings extensive hands-on expertise in substations, protection & control systems, HV/MV installations, GIS systems, and power generation environments. Known for his disciplined field leadership and strong safety culture, he ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedule and quality expectations.

His project experience includes BC Hydro’s Selkirk CB Replacement and 60 kV CT/CB Upgrades, ABB/PCS GIS Substations in Saskatchewan, ATCO Electric Engstrom & Quigley Substations, the Hugh Keenleyside Dam Upgrade, and multiple utility and power generation projects across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
